Geneese Eurcilla Edwards, age 64, of Huntington Long Island, entered into heavenly rest on Wednesday, June 7th 2017 in Dekalb Medical Hillandale Lithonia, Georgia. Geneese was born June 18th 1952 in Huntington, Long Island, New York, daughter of the late George R. Edwards & Barbara Jones Edwards. Geneese was the only female, raised with six brothers. She loved to sing, dance and entertain with her dearest brothers. Her beauty, style and strong will made an unforgotten impression where ever she went. Geneese was a mother of three, and later married her companion of 17 year in
2009 Keith Tabscott. Besides her parents Geneese was predeceased by three brothers, George Edwards Jr; Count Edwards and Craig Johnson. Geneese is survived by: daughters, Rashell Davis (Dennis) of Lithonia, GA; Shaneesha Davis (Shone) of Bridgeport, CT; Shawna Edwards of Lithonia, GA; brothers, Ernest & sister-in law Donna Edwards of Huntington, NY; Stephen & sister-in law Sheila Edwards of Bridgeport, CT; Kurt & sister-in law Darlene Johnson of Shirley, NY; stepson, Lyndell Courts of Enfield, CT; granddaughters, Jasmine Moye of Lithonia, GA; Janisha Davis of Bridgeport, CT; Janaya Moye of Lithonia, GA; Jenice Moye of Lithonia, GA; Tynesha Heard of Bridgeport, CT; Destiny Faith Davis; great grandchildren, Antonio Small and Sa’lone Velasquez; one aunt, Grace
Edwards. Special bonds with Ms. Sylvia Hines (Goddaughter); Mrs. Delma Young (sister in law); and two special nieces Leola Davis; and Ebony Williams and a host of extended family and friends that will cherish Geneese’s memory.
